weekly reflection

What did i enjoy this week? i enjoyed talking with this person called floid hes a DJ who was telling us about him and the company  he was working for and he showed us how to use the app his company made.

what was one highlight this week? one of my highlights was when we got to play on the DJ kit. it was really fun and cool because we could make our own beat and then we use the DJ kit to like make the noise with the disc things on the DJ kit.

what is something i found challenging? i found doing my letter challenging.our letter was about this person called chief paratene te manu. he was going to get evicted off his island and we had to write a letter to the federal government land court. i am talking about a story that our teacher told us its not entirely about what i was talking about its mostly about where he lives and about the pakehas and the maori. i couldn't think of anything to write when i was doing my letter and that's why i found it challenging.

what is one thing i have learned? i learnt how to do box and whiskers for example. first off we would get a set of numbers we would have to make smallest to biggest. once we did that we had to find the median. then we had to mark the smallest number and the biggest number. then we had find the number in the middle of the biggest and lowest numbers.then we had to make a dot graph from 10 to 100 then you put your numbers into dots and then you puts the dots where your numbers are supposed to be. then you make a box with the 2nd and 4th dot and then you do a line in between third dot and then you make a line out side of the box to the first and 5th.

what is something i am looking forward to next week? i am looking forward to making our songs because we are able to make a beat for our songs that we are making. its gonna be really fun to play with.

how have i shown the value of aroha? when it was my friends birthday he brought over a birthday cake and i said thank you when he gave me a part of his cake.
